At Elizabeth & Grace, I am not satisfied until you achieve your "wow" and create your perfect space. Hi! I'm Rita.
Founder and interior stylist at Eilzabeth & Grace Design. I am a wife to my best friend and mother to 3 awesome kids. I am originally from Nova Scotia, however, I transplanted to Alberta about 15 years ago.
I am a graduate of Mount Royal University with a Certificate in Interior Decorating which is accredited by the Canadian Decorators Association (CDEAC). Prior to creating Elizabeth & Grace Design, I was an RCMP officer for 15 years. While in the RCMP, I completed my real-estate courses from the Real Estate Council of Alberta. Prior to the RCMP, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University and then a Master's of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. I am probably one of the few mothers and shift-workers that does not drink coffee...I am a tea with 2 milk kind of girl...may be directly related to my Cape Breton roots!
I am at a point in my life where I recognize the importance of loving what you do, and doing what you love! I am passionate about achieving a great design in every space and I take this passion and great enthusiasm into each of my projects.
I have an ability to meet people where they are and to help them with their design dilemmas. I never shy away from a good challenge and I hope that my good nature and laid back style can help to put you at ease. Whether you want to be involved in every step of your design or you want to only be present for the big reveal, let me work with you to help you achieve the "wow" that you have been craving.
